Franco
Hi Delegates! I am Franco Malde, I’m 15 years old (at the time of the conference I’ll be 16) and I’m a student at The British Schools of Montevideo. I’ve lived in Uruguay my whole life with my family. I started participating in MUN in 2020. Since then I have attended 8 conferences, LAMUN 2022 will be my tenth because in January 2022 I'll attend THIMUN 2022. In my first 6 conferences, I participated as a delegate as well as in my ninth. In my seventh and eighth, I participated as a chair, and in LAMUN I’ll be the president chair of GA1. My favourite thing is sailing- I have been doing it since I was seven and it never gets old. I also enjoy volunteering in organisations like “SOS Rescate de Fauna Marina”! I hope to provide a wonderful experience for all delegates, especially those who are new to MUN. I’d like to find a committee where debate is respectful and active, with delegates that have done their research and propose realistic solutions for our issue at hand. See you in April Delegates!

Hi delegates! My name is Delfina Noguez, I’m 17 years old, and I attend International College in Punta del Este. I’m currently in my last year of high school and second year of the IB diploma program. I joined my school's MUN program back in 2019, and since then have been an active and committed member of the club. I decided to join MUN because I wanted to be a more knowledgeable person and be more aware of what was going on around the world, and MUN just seemed like the perfect place to do just that.
I am very excited to be a Student Officer at LAMUN 2022, and I can't wait to see you all debate possible solutions to issues regarding the Disarmament and International Security of today’s world. My co-chair and I encourage all of you to research and prepare your resolutions in order to partake in a fruitful and enjoyable debate. See you in April!
