Hi delegates! I am Marcos Werning, I’m 16 years old and I go to school in Buenos Aires, Argentina at St. Andrew’s Scots School. I am an American with Argentine parents who brought me back to their home country in 2016. I have been doing MUN since 2020 and have thus far attended eight models, being a delegate in 6, chairing in two, and being a secretariat member in one. I enjoy swimming, singing in choir and participating in school clubs like Community Service and the Student Union. I hope that I can provide a great MUN experience to beginner and experienced delegates alike by guiding those who need it and giving more experienced delegates a space to develop their skills further. Our issues this year are related to cryptocurrency and tax evasion. For cryptocurrency, I would encourage you to delve into the issue and use this as an opportunity to explore the subject. Meanwhile, I would like for you to be extremely creative with the second issue and make sure that the debate covers all grounds. I will be handling the second issue and my co-chair, Sebastian, will be working on the first. However, feel free to ask me any and all questions.
